Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and PFB Members Service Corporation operate with a professional staff of 97 men and women led by a Chief Administrative Officer. PFB provides its members with a voice in public affairs, industry-related information and the opportunity for savings through services and member benefits.

Keri Zeigler/Human Resources Director
Keri is responsible for carrying out all aspects of human resources, with a focus on formulating a strategic human capital management plan for all staff of PFB and affiliated companies. Member Relations Division
|
Member Relations Division is the link between the state organization and its 54 county Farm Bureaus. The state is divided into eight regions with assistance provided in each area by a Regional Organization Director (ROD). A membership drive is conducted each year as well as coordinating county Farm Bureau programs with local leadership.

Todd is a graduate of Susquehanna University Sigmund Weis School of Business with an emphasis on marketing and business administration. Before coming to PFB 16 years ago Todd was east coast training director for a Fortune 500 company. Previous positions held at PFB were Regional Organization Director and Marketing Director.

(RODs)
RODs each manage a multi-county territory with six or more county Farm Bureaus per region. They implement all programming, training and provide member engagement opportunities throughout PA. They deliver marketing, communication and public awareness opportunities in their local communities and responsible for the yearly membership campaign and growth of the organization.

Government Affairs & Communications Division
|
The Government Affairs & Communications Division is responsible for PFB’s lobbying and communications programs. It works to implement PFB policy objectives in state and national legislative and regulatory activities. It also provides members with information to aid in their involvement in policy development and implementation efforts and informs the public on issues crucial to agriculture and rural life. In addition, the division assists with the marketing of member programs such as Nationwide and builds productive working relationships with the news media and other groups.

Before being named manager, Joel coordinated the grassroots efforts of Pennsylvania Farm Bureau members in several different positions regarding local, federal and state legislative and regulatory issues. Joel was a dairy farmer for twenty years and County Farm Bureau Leader before his employment with Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.Joel has a BA in Organizational Management from Eastern University.

Michael graduated from Lycoming College earning a bachelor of arts degree with majors in accounting and music performance. He started his career with MSC Business Services in 1999 as an Account Supervisor serving Snyder and Union counties. He was promoted to Regional Manager where he also managed six account supervisors in the Northeast region of Pennsylvania. He took a short pause from MSC as as hybrid business/ag lender for M&T Bank, then returned as manager of MSC Business Services in 2018. He has 20 years’ experience in agricultural related accounting and farm management.

Marie Achey/Payroll Director Marie manages our payroll department which operates as a third-party payroll processor for over 160 clients. She has over 30 years of experience in payroll and 10 years of experience providing support to human resources in compliance issues relating to payroll.
Gail Bryner/Payroll Specialist Gail prepares, verifies and processes client’s payroll and performs associated tasks in our payroll department. She updates and maintains client’s employer information, handles changes related to employee benefits, union dues, leaves of absences, pay rates, terminations, department transfers, and other payroll-related functions for our clients’ employees.
Kanthy Vaylay/Operations Director Kanthy has a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting, and a master’s degree in Information Systems.

Tara Sue Myers/Bookkeeping Specialist Tara Sue manages our bookkeeping clients while compiling financial data into useful reports with MSC’s exclusive FACCTS accounting software. She is also our QuickBooks support professional and serves as administrative office support.
Christine Stephenson/Office Administrator Christine focuses on supporting staff in tax preparation and distribution of taxes, overseeing office procedures, accounting for receivables, coordinating admin and remote staff, and assisting our clients.
Tim Wirt/Director of Training Tim develops, schedules and conducts staff trainings for our remote accounting staff while keeping abreast of program, farm management and tax-related changes. He is the primary auditor for our entity tax returns and chief mentor for our staff employed under 18 months. In conjunction with this position, Tim also maintains a set of clients to keep him current in tax and farm related matters.

Information Technology (IT)
The Information Technology department is responsible for the PFB internal network and servers, telephone system, purchasing and maintenance of desktop PCs, printers, corporate application programming, and purchase and updating of third party software.
